Occupying one of the highest points of the city, Parc des Buttes Chaumont, in the 19th arrondissement, is one of the most beautiful green spaces in Paris. With its artificial mountain surmounted by a temple, its caves filled with stalactites and stalagmites, its lush forests and its beautiful grassy slopes, it is the ideal place to spend a day of idleness..
As you stroll around in the park, you can’t help but notice the Temple de la Sibylle. Inspired by the Temple of Vesta in Tivoli and designed by Gabriel Davioud. He was a city architect for Paris whose another notable creation is the Fontaine Saint-Michel.

This is one of my great escapes in Paris. It’s lovely and really very few tourists to encounter. (I AM a tourist but I don’t like them!)
Nice park fresh air and lovely
